Town Rules, HOAs and an Arborist’s Assessment

Leesburg is an incorporated town with its own zoning rules, separate from Loudoun County’s. Downtown’s Old and Historic District has a Board of Architectural Review for exterior changes, and many neighborhoods, including Lansdowne, have community associations that review tree work. Tuscarora Creek and its branches run through town, and Leesburg’s zoning sets a Creek Valley Buffer to protect the tree canopy along them.
